General Duties

The Campus Facilities Management staff endeavors to maintain a safe and aesthetically pleasing campus. This unit strives to maintain a perpetual painting program campus wide, which helps to keep all facilities looking modern, crisp and clean.

Both campus shops work primarily day staff to maximize their effectiveness. This unit handles all the campus painting and also other task such as concrete repair, block and brick work, tile setting, drywall finish and plaster repair. We also clean all exterior building surfaces on campus during the summer months. The unit handles many small renovation projects throughout campus, such as interior upgrades, flooring replacements, concrete replacement and masonry repair work. A midnight painting crew is also employed to paint in high-traffic areas.
