Work Request

Emergency Work Requests:

If your request is an emergency or needs immediate support (i.e., breaker tripped, broken water pipe, too hot/too cold, etc.), please call the Help Line at 304-293-4357 (HELP).

Regular/Nonurgent Work Requests:

Facilities Management uses an online work request system called Facilities Service Desk (FSD) to ensure that your requests are routed to the appropriate technicians. Students and employees can log into the system by using their WVU Login credentials.

Requests for Academic and Athletic Buildings:

Each academic building is assigned a building supervisor who is responsible for tracking and submitting work requests for their building. To submit a work request, please contact your building supervisor. If you do not know who your building supervisor is, find them on the Facilities Service Desk portal.

Requests for Residence Halls:

Students and employees can initiate a work request for residence halls directly from the Facilities Service Desk through the "Submit a Request" form.
