What is an emergency?
An emergency is defined as a life safety issue or situation that creates a negative impact on the unit’s ability to conduct University business.
Who do I call when I have an emergency?
When you have an emergency, call 304-293-4357 for immediate attention. A service crew member will be dispatched to address the situation.
What do I do about a non-emergency request?
Please initiate a work request by clicking on Work Request and selecting the type of request that best fits your need. This is an electronic process with e-mail notifications. You may be contacted by one of our staff to review the request and provide additional information. Additionally, sometimes larger repairs will need to be scheduled and coordinated to correct the problem.
Who can I call to discuss a planned move, special set-up, and renovation or construction project?
The initial starting point for a request is to complete one of our brief questionnaires that have been designed to capture the essence of your project. You may do that by clicking on Move, Set-up or Event, Renovation and Construction. This is an electronic process with e-mail notifications. Upon receipt you will be contacted by one of our staff to review the request and provide additional information.
What about after hours and on the weekend?
During holidays, after hours and on weekends, please call 304-293-4357 to reach our after-hours on-call staff.
Who do I call about cleaning issues or requests?

How do I request general maintenance items such as; equipment service, keys, re-keying, repairing windows, etc.?

What types of services are not available?
Generally we do not assemble furniture, fabricate purchasable items, provide off campus services or equipment.
