Cleaning Schedule

Custodial Operations currently maintains over 5,500,000 cleanable square feet throughout the WVU Campus. Our team strives to provide a healthy and clean environment for the WVU Community by reducing the transmission of infectious diseases, viruses, etc. We have implemented a green cleaning program that reduces the negative impact that cleaning has on the health and the environment throughout the WVU Campus. We have combined cutting edge technologies with best practice strategies coupled with extensive training. We are continually doing research on the latest Green and environmentally safe products, while focusing on a cleaning process and schedule that support our use of Green products. The cleaning frequency schedule is based on available staffing and serves as an operational guideline in providing service for over 200 campus facilities. This includes spaces such as classrooms, offices, conference rooms, kitchenettes, elevators, stairwells and many other common and private spaces.
